ICMS - Stratingh Symposium - Victor Verduijn obtained 1st talk prize

During the visit of the groups of Bert Meijer and Ghislaine Vantomme to Groningen a mini-symposium was organised comprising of talks from a variety of PhD students and Post-docs from both institutes.

Our PhD-student and colleague Victor Verduijn was awarded the 1st talk prize!

He had been discussing his recent work on the use of optical tweezers for the characterisation of a novel force exertion mechanism that does not rely on (de-)polymerisation.

We wish to congratulate Victor with this achievement!
